There is a sweet story behind this pattern:
My friend Simona and I, we are very different but we have lots of things in common at the same time.
We live an hour and half apart, we meet each other often with our husbands, we have dinners together and stuff. But there's one weird thing that we have in common. Weird because we are Italian, but we both love American coffee. I mean, A LOT.
We are chatting in the past month, she was in the US at a retreat, and she told me that she just bought a creamer for her coffee in her hotel room and we thought that it would be lovely to chat and sip a coffee together. So we thought to design a pattern about coffee, it would have been like having a coffee together, but from a distance.
And so now we have my When I Think Of Coffee and her Coffee Lover and we will always remember that, no matter how far, there's always a friend who would like to have a coffee with you.
Those two patterns have in common the same fabric that Simona (Mani Di Donna) dyed so beautifully (the same that I used for all my collection) and my Coffee pins. We had so much fun.
I hope you will stitch those patterns so we will drink a virtual coffee all together from a distance.
