Susan's grandmother, Rose, taught her to stitch when she was just seven years old. It was a great experience and she loved spending time with her. As she moved through her teen years, she found that this was one craft that continued to bring her joy. In early adulthood, she started a family and found that even though life became very hectic she could still find relaxation when stitching. In her middle years she decided to open her first stitching shop in Tucson AZ and found that it brought her tons of joy for the twelve years that is was open. After moving to the Williamsburg area, she decided that it was time to once again open a Needlework Shop and get back to what she loves - meeting fellow stitchers and building lasting friendships.
